The Lake Oswego Swim Park is open in July and August and free for all residents. People can swim or float around on the water and cool down from the summer heat.
Pathways
Lake Oswego has seven pathways of paved walking trails all around the city. They connect neighborhoods to the major thoroughfares around town. Each trail ranges from two to seven miles and takes in everything from a circle around the namesake lake to the picturesque vistas of George Rogers Park, and much more.
George Rogers Park
Running along the south side of downtown Lake Oswego, George Rogers Parks sits in a spacious 26 acres. It includes many features for family fun. You will find a beach area along the Willamette River for fun on the waterside. There are picnic tables, a memorial garden, barbecue pits, soccer and baseball fields, playgrounds, and the all important restrooms. There are walking and biking trails that meander throughout the forested greenery of this amazing park.
Lake Theater Cafe
The Lake Theater Cafe is a favorite spot for locals to gather. They offer food, movies, and even live music. With indoor and outdoor seating, visitors to this venue can sit right on the water. The food is much more than your average fare. You will find seasonal, local, healthy selections on the menu as well as an unbeatable beer and wine menu.
Willamette Shore Trolley
This old-style trolley runs through beautiful neighborhood and along the Willamette River. It terminates at Powers Marine Park before circling back. The vintage trolley hearkens back to the 1800s and can be a romantic ride for couples or a fun way for kids to interact with history.
