Lake Oswego: Good Eats and Drinks

Lake Oswego on Food

As is true of much of the Northwest, Lake Oswego is full of foodies who love to have unique, inventive food and a craft beer readily available. Dr Roof Inc, https://www.drroofinc.com/, knows of many great places to take in the tastes of Lake Oswego. Below is in no way an exhaustive list. There are simply too many good eats to mention them all! Here are some of our favorites.

Fire House Pub

Fire House Pub describes its atmosphere as “comfortable.” They have several large flatscreen TVs, pool tables, and video poker to keep you entertained. You can order from a list of classic burgers as well as some original creations.

Baird’s on B Bar & Grill

The unique setup of this restaurant creates separate spaces throughout the up- and downstairs areas. Large and small parties can be accommodated and seated in an intimate area all their own. Don’t have a group to sit with? That’s okay. Sit with strangers at the communal table and watch the game on two large flatscreens behind the bar. The menu boasts of everything from crab cakes, to top serloin, to mac and cheese, so there is something to delight a variety of pallets.

Gemini Bar and Grill

The Gemini is a great place not only to meet friends and have a bite to eat, but also take in the local music scene. There is something going on every night. Treat yourself to a local band three nights a week or come in for trivia night and see how you do.

Five Spice Seafood and Wine Bar

The Five Spice Seafood and Wine Bar is an upscale dining experience. As the name suggest, the menu is mainly a maritime fare. And, for the wine… You have 35 options by the glass, many highlighting Oregon’s pinot noirs. All that, and you have a view of the lake from the balcony.

Hanko’s Sports Bar and Grill

Coming down a notch in price and atmosphere, Hanko’s is all things sports. You have a large selection of starters that are ever-popular during any game, like jalapeno poppers and nachos. Then there’s the Triple decker sandwiches and burger list. Flatscreens can be seen from nearly every direction and there are pool tables to keep you busy during half-time.

Lake Oswego’s restaurants offer something for everyone. Come by and find the right taste to fit your mood.
