We start preparing your roof by inspecting it for damage and wear and testing it to make sure the adhesion will work on that type of surface.

We then use a concentrated cleaner and a variety of tools to make sure the roof is completely clean and dry before applying the membrane. For larger roofs, we use an industrial pressure washer, push brooms, and water hoses, to release caked-on dirt, debris, moss, and algae.

The roof surface needs to be completely clean and dry before the primer is applied, so we may use commercial blowers to speed up the process and ensure a thoroughly dry surface.

Our team of roof coating specialists never overlooks the details. We take the time to reinforce seams, joints, and corners with roof tape and patch any damage. We also trim any overhang as needed to ensure smooth angles.

Depending on the type of existing roof material, we will choose a quick-drying primer to ensure complete adhesion of the coating to the roof surface.

The final step in the roof coating process is applying the first and second coats. Though we do ensure a dry surface before applying the primer, the first and second coatings are actually waterproof even before they’ve fully dried. Our team, however, is always careful to make sure the weather permits us to install your roof membrane safely and correctly.

Our roof coating products are available in a limited variety of shades. If you’d like your roof to be a darker or lighter shade of white, gray, or tan, talk to us about our roof coating colorants.

Once the final coat has been applied, we perform detailed trim work to ensure any cracks or flaws are addressed. We also check for any potential ponding areas and correct them as needed.
